Ohio Democrat Party operative and union boss captain Kyle McDermott shared the following picture a ‘Right to Work’ training course today on twitter. Not only was there a lack of diversity, but there was probably a lack of truth too.

One of the most powerful interest groups in education and labor, the National Education Association, gave $15-MILLION to advocacy groups in 2011-2012. Almost one-third of that money ($4,718,000) went to fund the Ohio Democratic Party and the liberal super PAC We Are Ohio.
The problem? The NEA used the dues money they forced members to pay, to insdead pay the Ohio Democratic Party, instead of the union’s federal PAC.
Not all NEA members are Democrats. In fact, according to the NEA’s own “Status of the American Public School Teacher 2000-2001,” only 45 percent of public school teachers identified as Democrats. A lare number of union members (29%) said they did “not trust” the union.
The Democrats and their union boss friends like Kyle McDermott are trying to whip up excitment over nothing. The primary focus of Republicans is to create jobs. Period.
Instead of joining to help, the Ohio Democratic Party and union boss Kyle McDermott seem to be spreading lies in an effort to corrupt and take advantage of union members for their selfish political interests.
Add Congressman Tim Ryan to the list of Ohio Democrats killing jobs.
Congressman Tim Ryan announced his outspoken opposition to Ohio’s Jobs and Transportation plan this week. Which leaves us scratching our heads…Why?
Not only will Governor John Kasich’s new plan for the Ohio turnpike create nearly new jobs, it will repair Ohio’s crumbling roads and highway. It even includes $80-million in new funding to widen Interstate 80 in Youngstown. (That’s in Congressman Ryan’s own district.) I-80 has the second highest volume of truck traffic in the state. Not only that, I-80 is in close proximity to the GM plant and Youngstown State University.
“[Governor Kasich’s Job’s and Transportation plan] attempts to fix a problem that does not exist.” -Congressman Tim Ryan
Really?
Apparently investing in Ohio’s infrastructure to grow our economy and repairing one of the most important stretches of highway in Ohio must not be a priority for Congressman Ryan. And the same can be said about Congressman Ryan’s feelings toward creating jobs.
Maybe Congressman Ryan should focused on Washington’s massive spending problem instead of state policy.
“This is laughable. He has been complicit in turning Washington, D.C. into a fiscal dumpster fire, and he thinks he has the credibility to weigh in on Ohio fiscal policy? Tim Ryan needs to sit at the feet of OBM Director Tim Keen and take lessons on responsible budgeting.” - Rob Nichols, press secretary for Kasich

Here are the top five bills Ohio Democrats have tried to thwart in the Ohio legislature over the years.
House Bill 1 – JobsOhio – This innovative new entity has one priority: help create Ohio jobs. Democrats sued the state twice to prevent its creation, but 81,000 Ohio jobs have been created or preserved.
House Bill 58 – Job Retention Tax – This smart tax reform applies a credit for companies who keep their employees in state and has saved taxpayers over $48 million.
House Bill 153 – Jobs Budget – Governor Kasich’s budget was balanced and closed an $8 billion budget gap without raising taxes when it was signed in June 2011.
House Bill 473 – Great Lakes Compact – Balanced the environmental sustainability of Lake Erie with economic development and job growth in Northern Ohio.
Senate Bill 314 – Development Services Agency / JobsOhio 2 – Boosted the relationships between the public and private sectors for job creation and eliminated excessive bureaucracy to streamline job creation efforts.
